12 Days of Blessing!

Since our last post in February, the Lord has opened the windows of heaven and poured out a blessing!
On March 30th. the need was very great in Migori. The drought had taken a serious toll on the water and food supply.
People and animals alike were dying and there was no means of correcting the mounting problems.

There was nothing to plant for a much needed crop that could be harvested by June. The rains were forecast to return in just days. They were down to the wire to get something in the ground.

They had no bulls to help with plowing, no seed to plant, no fertilizers (all animals died so they had no manure), no medicine to treat water borne illnesses, no clean water, no food to keep workers nourished while hand digging, and all seemed hopeless.

But Then God Answered Prayer!

We put out a plea for help...many answered the need with donations. One donor even pledged to match donations! ,,,,,,,,   $10,000.00 came in over the next 12 days! A miracle!

Boniface ordered two bulls right away from the border of Uganda, to be used to plow the ground.

He rode the 6 hr. trip back with the bulls in the truck to insure a safe delivery.
He ordered needed seeds, fertilizers, army worm spray, and much needed medicines.

Upon his return they found that the old plow his dad owned for many years was worn out and was unable to  dig deep enough behind the bulls.
Boniface was able to purchase another one at a market.

Pictured below are the new crops coming in!

They were also able to put in two hand dug wells ! One at his dad's village and another one ten miles from that one. Now many will have access to safe clean water!

Looking forward to a beautiful harvest in June!
Isn't The Lord Good?

February 2024 Update

Greetings Friends, Last year was a very exciting year for Migori! The Lord has done a quick work way beyond any of our imaginations. Late in the fall of 2022 we were informed that the Government in Kenya gave us just a few short months to build an updated church on our land.  In October of 2022, Boniface made an emergency trip to the USA to seek help for constructing a new building before our land would be taken. As Boniface was preaching and visiting different churches , the governing surveyors in Migori were sent to measure the ground, anticipating the forfeiture. Needless to say time was running out and we still had no solution. Then…. came the “Day of the Miracle” needed to save the property! By late November the funds came! All Glory to the Lord who made it possible as only He can. Boniface quickly returned to get the building underway!  During Boniface’s visit in November of 2022…unknown to us….another Miracle was in the works in tandem with the Building Miracle. Donatio...

Water Project: Migori Orphans Kids Update

While in Migori working on the Water Project the board was able to spend some time with our Migori Orphans and other kids in the community. Below are some of the photos and videos from that experience.

Planting in Migori County - Fall 2024

With the help of our generous donors, Migori Missions was able to provide the seed and fertilizer for our second planting in 2024.  The crops have been planted at the Rosser Farm in Migori County Kenya.   "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit."  -  John 12:24 Bishop Boniface Abanga had been given information that the forecast for Migori County was going to be dry for longer than expected in the September months. Due to this information, the decision was made to delay the planting by a few weeks and use the bulls to ensure the seed was planted deep into the ground. Within a few days of the seed being planted, the rain began to fall. Praise God! The rain is coming at just the right time to allow the seed to germinate properly! We Praise God for our donors, for the crops, and for the seed.  We Praise God that The Seed was planted over 2000 years ago, and wi...
