Harvesting and Planting in Migori

Praise God it is harvest and planting time in Migori! Twice a year Migori Missions provides the seed and fertilizer to plant crops to feed the community.

The crops help to feed the entire community and provide educational opportunities for the children of single mothers as a portion of their harvested crops can be used in trade for education.

We praise God for the crops being harvested and pray for the crops about to be planted!

It is thanks to donors like you we are able to continue the planting in Migori. The church is feeding those who come not only with the crops but with the Word!

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. Matt 4:4

The video below shows the crops at our Rosser Farm in Migori! Boniface is speaking with his father (aka "This Old Guy" 🤣 ) who manages the farm.

February 2024 Update

Greetings Friends, Last year was a very exciting year for Migori! The Lord has done a quick work way beyond any of our imaginations. Late in the fall of 2022 we were informed that the Government in Kenya gave us just a few short months to build an updated church on our land.  In October of 2022, Boniface made an emergency trip to the USA to seek help for constructing a new building before our land would be taken. As Boniface was preaching and visiting different churches , the governing surveyors in Migori were sent to measure the ground, anticipating the forfeiture. Needless to say time was running out and we still had no solution. Then…. came the “Day of the Miracle” needed to save the property! By late November the funds came! All Glory to the Lord who made it possible as only He can. Boniface quickly returned to get the building underway!  During Boniface’s visit in November of 2022…unknown to us….another Miracle was in the works in tandem with the Building Miracle. Donatio...

The Lord Makes A Way.....Again!

New Year Brings New Challenges! January, the orphans started their new school year with the usual expenses of school fees and supplies.  February started with very dry conditions, and our four existing shallow wells were soon showing signs of going completely dry. It became very difficult to find sources of clean water.  During this difficult month we were able to get the existing corn harvest in before the dry conditions ruined the crop. Thank you Lord!  The very dry conditions and lack of clean water caused many to became ill.  They came to our Clinic to be treated for Chlorea and other waterborne illnesses. This very quickly put a strain on our medical stock.     March soon arrived and with it the need to begin plowing and preparing our farm land for the next planting. How could we meet these challenges in such a small time frame? The Lord Makes A Way Again!      Right On Time! Our fundraiser lasted 7 da...
