Migori Missions

 Praise God it is harvest and planting time in Migori! Twice a year Migori Missions provides the seed and fertilizer to plant crops to feed the community. The crops help to feed the entire community and provide educational opportunities for the children of single mothers as a portion of their harvested crops can be used in trade for education. We praise God for the crops being harvested and pray for the crops about to be planted! It is thanks to donors like you we are able to continue the planting in Migori. The church is feeding those who come not only with the crops but with the Word! Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.  We are exited to announce the 2025 Migori Missions Matched Fundraiser event from now through Feb 9th! Thanks to our gracious benefactors Darryl and Diane Rosser, all donations are matched 100%! We are raising funds for the following: Programs: Biannual Planting Program at Rosser Farm Biannual Orphan Education Program Biannual Clinic Medicine Restock Program Projects: Water Project: A new water supply well. This new well will support the community as well as our tilapia ponds that provide the correct conditions for our greenhouses that help to feed the community. Clinic Rebuild: Last year our rented clinic building burnt down with the devastating fire in down town Migori. We are currently teaming up with another pharmacist to run our clinic out of his building. The long term goal is to purchase a piece of land just outside Migori to build our own clinic and reduce the cost of rent as well as invest in the future. Praise God! Thanks to God's blessings through our donors we were able to continue the Migori Missions Education Program for 2025 and provide school tuition, uniforms, and supplies including room and board for 29 Migori orphans!  Education in Migori is a privilege not known to every child. The opportunities this education provides to them is life changing. However, it also is not cheap. Thanks to our donors we were able to raise the 70% of the high school fees as well as the funds required to purchase the uniforms for all of our orphan students, including high school, middle school, and primary school. Standard uniform requirements each year: Rubber Protective Shoes - $30 Pie Jammer - $20 Weekend clothing - $25 Neck Tie - $10 Stockings - $16 Candles - $3 Underwear - $10 Pullover - $30 Shirts/Blouses - $28 Pants/Skirts - $45 This is a total of $257 per child and lasts them the entire year.
